Return & Exchange Policy

At Madish, we strive to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Our Return & Exchange Policy complies with The Consumer Protection Act, 2019, E-commerce Rules, 2020, and all applicable Indian laws.

Important Note: Some products may have return policies different from what’s listed below. In such cases, the product page policy takes precedence.


General Terms & Conditions

1. Timeline for Returns & Exchanges

You must file a return or exchange request within 7 days of receiving your order.

2. Returns

  • Eligible orders can be returned against which we offer a store credit
  • Refund to source is currently unavailable

3. Replacement / Exchange

  • You may request a replacement or exchange for eligible orders
  • If the replacement product is unavailable, you’ll receive a store credit instead

4. Store Credit Validity

Store credit is valid for 365 days from the date of issue.

5. Cancellation of Orders

Prepaid orders canceled before dispatch will be refunded to the original payment source within 30 days, as per RBI Refund & Chargeback Regulations.


Important Information on Returns

1. Free Pick-Up Service for Returns

Our preferred method is free pick-up, available in select pin codes.

2. Pick-Up Attempt & Self-Shipping

  • We make a maximum of two pick-up attempts
  • If both fail, you must self-ship the product to us
  • We’ll reimburse up to ₹250 as Madish Credit for your shipping cost

3. Return Eligibility Criteria

  • Item must be unused, unwashed, with all original tags, stickers and packaging intact
  • Failure to comply may result in rejection of the return request

4. One-Time Store Credit Issuance Per Order

Store credit is issued only once per order.

5. Store Credit Usage Rules

Orders purchased using Madish Credit are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

6. Quality Check & Store Credit Issuance

  • Madish Credit will be issued only after returned products pass a quality check at our warehouse
  • Processing takes 6–8 working days after the product is received

Compliance with Indian Consumer Laws

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019 – Transparency in return policies
  • E-Commerce Rules, 2020 – Defines seller obligations and consumer rights
  • Legal Metrology Act, 2009 – Accurate product descriptions and conditions
  • RBI Guidelines on Refunds – Regulates refund timelines for prepaid orders
